Regional character. Harmonic. Singular. Organic. Burgenland.

Made in Austria.

The Meinklang winery is located on the east of Lake Neusiedl, on the edge of the Hungarian lowland plains in what is now part of the national park. The vineyards seem to go on endlessly, blending into the vastness of the Puszta landscape. It is a special matter of concern to respect nature and to grow wines according to biodynamic methods. Respecting the earth as a living organism and the interrelationship of soil, plant and climate respondis to the rhythms and activities of the larger cosmos.

Zweigelt and St. Laurent, the typical kind of grapes of the area, predominate and are completed with international ones like Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. White wines include mainly indigenous varieties such as Pinot Blanc or Pinot Gris. The concept of winemaking reflects Meinklang's land and climate therefore yielding great elegance and fine structure.
